If this replacement operates on a different frequency than your original remote, it cannot serve as a substitute even if they appear similar.

✬ DIP CODE PAIRING - To synchronize with your ceiling fan receiver, ensure that the transmitter and receiver share the same DIP code. Locate the DIP codes within the old remote with the battery cover removed; the DIP switches are concealed behind the battery compartment as shown in the picture. Adjust the switches on the new remote to match the pattern of the original remote.

✬ CEILING FAN AND LIGHT REMOTE CONTROL - This remote features 3 speed settings (HI/MED/LOW) and an on/off button for fan operation.
